1. Call to Order — Docker called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
2. Roll Call — Dockery, Brink, Kincaid, Chambers, Freund, Sheely, Davis, Walsh, Downing

4. Approval of Minutes, July — PRAB Motion: Freund moved to approve July minutes.
Kincaid seconded the motion.
5. Apple Seed's Report: Mary Thompson — Thompson passed their annual report out,
shared their mission which is to improve health in our community by educating children
about healthy foods, including how to cook and grow it. Parks has had a partnership with
Appleseed's through Gulley Park since 2015 and have a 20-year agreement in place for
the teaching farm.

PRAB Recommendation: PRAB considered 6 & 7 together.
Brink motion to consider both fee -in -lieu dedications at the same time. Freund
seconded the motion. Motion 6-0-0.
8. Sculpture Placement Proposal: Joanna Bell -- Bell asked for location approval of a
commissioned sculpture in memory of local artist Hank Kaminsky. Two locations were
proposed for approval; one at the Gulley park Sculpture Garden, and one the Lower
Ramble.
PRAB Recommendation: Motion was made by Kincaid to approve both. Motion was
seconded by Brink. Motion: 6-0-0
9. Ordinance Amendment Proposal — Ebike regulations: Alison Jumper and Matt
Mihalevich — Board discussed ordinance amendments and recommended some minor
changes. Staff to bring back revised ordinance in September.
10. Active Transportation Advisory Committee Update: Yarri Davis — Requested
feedback on signal at Block & Nelson Hackett Blvd and concerned about a site line issue.
11. Botanical Garden Society of the Ozarks Update: Joel Freund — No report.

12. Friend of Parks Committee Report: Steve Sheely — Scheduled next meeting.
13. Land Acquisition Committee Report: Will Dockery — No report.
14. Protect Update: Ted Jack, Planning Superintendent — Jack gave updates on all under -
construction Park projects.
15. Review of HMR Report: Ted Jack, Planning Superintendent — Jack presented that
HMR for June was $440,113.
