Approval of Minutes PRAB Motion: Brink moved to approve October's meeting minutes. Freund seconded the motion. Motion passed 9-0-0. 6. Pick Me Up Litter Abatement Program: Peter Nierengarten and Heather Ellzey Elizey discussed the following: • Pilot program for unsheltered community funded by the city, receiving $30,000 • Next year, staff hoping for $80,000 for program • By early to late December, the funding will run out • Program in conjunction with Genesis Church • 5 Person Crew, One Supervisor, 3 days/week (M,W,F) • Monthly Cost: $7,000 a month • Volunteers get paid $50 for 4 hours of work, also includes showers, food and clothes • Needs going forward: o Additional Supervisor/Driver o Truck o Boots o Waders o Coats o Multiple Teams Mailing Address: 113 W. PRAB Motion: Kincaid moved to approve Proposed Budget. Brink seconded the Motion. Motion passed 9-0-0. 8. Future Meetings: Jumper asked the board if they wanted to continue hybrid meetings in 2023. The board discussed and chose to continue hybrid meetings in 2023. 9. BGO Reports: Joel Freund Freund discussed the following: • Gala was extremely successful. • The size of the board is increasing by 2 members. • The By-laws will be discussed at the next meeting. 10. Active Transportation Report: Yarri Davis Davis discussed the following: • The 5-year Trail Plan will be discussed this week. • New scooters and a -bikes have been introduced. 11. General Soft Surface Trail Updates: Alison Jumper, Director Jumper discussed the following: • Mt Sequoyah Woods — City approved the Fayetteville Traverse Trail, which is adjacent to Markham Hill. It will be a primitive trail and this work will begin soon. • It has 5 — 6% grade and it will be about 5 miles. • Recent re-route at Mt Sequoyah Trails, and signage coming soon. 12. Strategic Master Plan & Construction Update: Ted Jack, Planning Superintendent Jack discussed the following: • Wilson Park — Concrete Test • Underwood Community Park — Consultants working on Three Schemes with a tentative Public Meeting in December • Park System Master Plan o Draft Plan will be emailed Nov 9t" & Doodle Poll for meeting times o Nov 16t" meeting will be a joint meeting with PRAB & Advisory Committee o Plan will go on web for stake holders and public comment 14.
