1. Call to Order - Dockery called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm.

5. Approval of May 2, 2022 Meeting Minutes
PRAB Motion: Freund moved to approve April meeting minutes. Brink seconded
the motion. Motion passed 6-0-0.
6. Gregory Park Art Proposal: Ted Jack, Planning Superintendent and Rob Reno,
OORC
Jack discussed the following:
• At Gregory Park, Jason Jones did a mural on one of the wood features, that was
approved by PRAB June 3, 2019.
• Stains were used instead of paints, so the original is holding up well.
• OORC would like to do another one, on the wall nearest to the trailhead.
Reno discussed the following:
• Jason came up with three new ideas, with native to Arkansas creatures or bugs.
• The OORC board voted on the walking stick.
• It will be fully funded by OORC.
PRAB Motion: Brink moved to approve the Walking Stick concept. Kincaid
seconded the motion. Motion passed 6-0-0.

7. Active Transportation Advisory Committee Update: Yarri Davis
Davis was not at the meeting.
8. Botanical Garden Society of the Ozarks Update: Joel Freund
Freund said the garden is financially stable and doing well. Memberships have been
increasing over the past few months. There are two finalists for the Director position.
9. Parkland Dedication Owl Creek Update: Zach Foster, Park Planner
Foster discussed the following:
• Project was first presented to PRAB on January 3, 2022.
56 single family units.
PRAB accepted land dedication.
• The proposed land dedication areas no longer qualify for PLD.
• Developer will build trail to north of the development.
• Parks Staff and Developer recommend accepting land dedication along the new trail.
PRAB Motion: Dockery moved to accept the trail. Freund seconded the motion.
Motion passed 6-0-0.

11. Strategic Master Plan & Construction Update: Ted Jack, Planning Superintendent
Jack discussed the following:
• Advisory Committee June 911. Information was sent to PRAB to share with committee.
• Slope at Kessler has been repaired.
• Punch list will start on the new ballfields at Kessler. A ribbon cutting will be held in the
fall.
Brink asked about parking at Kessler with the addition of the new ballfields.
Jack said where the slope failure occurred, they have created a trailhead there, that will be
gravel. It will be utilized for Trailhead Parking. When larger events are held there, that
parking can also be utilized.

Jack discussed the following:
